Holding an 8th Duan ranking — a senior level awarded to experts with decades of contribution to the field — along with National Champion titles and qualifications as an internationally accredited wushu judge,
With more than 40 years cumulative professional teaching experience including as a university professor of martial arts in Wuhan and over 20 years teaching Wushu in Melbourne, she has trained and assessed athletes using modern sport‑science principles. Her professional step by step training and expertly designed exercise methods ensure learning and practising Wushu is a powerful pathway to physical and mental heath.
Concurrently Professor Lily has been the coach of the highly successful Melbourne University Wushu Kung Fu Club since 2009.
