Health Qigong Shi Er Duan Jin Workshop Coming This November

Wulong Tai Chi Kung Fu is pleased to announce our final workshop for 2026. This November, Professor Lily Sun will host a special Health Qigong Workshop, offering students a deep immersion into one of the most refined seated Qigong systems in the traditional Daoyin lineage. Join us for this rare chance to experience the depth, stillness and wisdom of seated qigong practice.

Why Shi Er Duan Jin?

Shi Er Duan Jin is a classical sitting‑posture Qigong method that integrates breath regulation, meridian stretching, gentle massage, mental stillness and internal awareness.

Originating from the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has been refined over centuries and adapted for modern practitioners by the Chinese Health Qigong Association. It is describes as:

“A sitting‑posture regimen that involves systematic exercise of the head, neck, shoulders, back, waist, arms, legs, chest and abdomen one after another.”

And its purpose is clear:

“The routine does not cure diseases but prevents diseases… Its unique function is to dispel accumulated wind pathogens and pathogenic qi.”

Shi Er Duan Jin is recognised for its ability to calm the mind, nourish the organs, regulate qi and blood, and harmonise the body‑mind system—making it ideal for busy modern life.

What Participants Will Experience

The Shi Er Duan Jin qigong created by the Chinese Health Qigong Association to promote physical health, mental relaxation, and spiritual well-being.

Participants will learn how qigong meditation regulates the breath, quiets the mind, and awakens clarity. Modern research aligns with this classical view: meditation increases frontal‑lobe activity, supporting clearer thinking, emotional balance and stress relief.
